Abortive Gasp Hamburg, Germany

'Abortive Gasp' was a Dark Wave group formed by lead singer Tim Paal and composer Harry Luehr in 1988 in Hamburg, Germany, later expanding to a trio.

In their homeland, the Electronic Body Music- and post-Punk-scene, they were musically characterised by the atypical high degree in improvisation as well as the early application of Dub. Because of their apolitical position they were contentious.
