about

The philosophical statement "Nothing new but Normal" could be interpreted musically in different ways: A minimalist musical composition could represent the idea of "nothing new" through repetitive motifs and structures. It could be simple melodies or harmonies that are continuously repeated and only undergo subtle variations.

Abortive Gasp create an industrial soundscape that expresses the idea of "nothing new" through mindless, uniform sounds and structures. This creates an unsettling rather than meditative mood, reflecting the idea of continuity and normality. Through deliberate repetition of melodies or motifs, the idea of stagnation or standstill is interpreted musically, while not transgressing the "normal". Electronic sounds are used to create an unusual, futuristic atmosphere that explores the idea of "nothing new" in a modern world.
